Keep Kids Moving This Winter! ❄️

Winter is here, Boulder, and it’s the perfect time to embrace all the season has to offer! While the snow blankets our parks in magic, Boulder Parks and Recreation (BPR) is helping families stay active and connected with fun, engaging activities—both indoors and out.
Here are some great ways to keep the kids moving and having fun this season:
• Indoor Adventures: At the South Boulder Recreation Center, kids can explore the ninja studio for climbing, jumping, and parkour practice or hang out in the lounge for ping pong and foosball fun.
• Gymnastics Galore: The North Boulder Recreation Center has gymnastics classes, open play sessions, and even birthday party packages for young tumblers.
• Make a Splash: Stay warm at indoor pools with lap lanes, family-friendly leisure pools, and a drop slide open on Saturdays at North for older kids.
• Outdoor Winter Play: Boulder’s 80+ parks are perfect for sledding, building snow forts, or creating a winter scavenger hunt.
• Day Camps for Days Off: When school’s out, North Boulder’s day-off camps keep kids entertained with games, crafts, and swimming while making new friends.
• Save the Date: Don’t miss the Sweetheart Dance on February 8, 2025, where kids and their adults can enjoy dancing, crafts, and activities in the gymnastics area.
Looking ahead to the new year, BPR is rolling out deals on memberships and training packages to help you kick-start your wellness journey. And don’t forget to join the New Year’s event on January 11 at East Boulder Community Center, featuring sample fitness classes, wellness programs, and more to help you achieve your 2025 health goals.
Let’s keep the kids—and ourselves—happy, healthy, and active all winter long!
