🌼 Hike & Seek: Wildflowers Poppin’ Off in Boulder

Alright, Boulder: if your idea of a good time is huffing up a hill and being rewarded with a front-row seat to Mother Nature’s confetti show, we’ve got just the trails for you.

From the foothills to the forest, wildflowers are flexing their petals, and the local hiking crowd is here for it. Here’s what Boulder’s best wildflower-chasing, dirt-tramping folks are saying:

🏞️ Sanitas & Mesa Trail – Locals are raving about the color shows right now, especially near NCAR and Chautauqua. Elevation gain? Check. Wildflowers? Double check.

🌸 Anemone Trail – Not a huge field of blooms, but a vibe with alpine species like golden banner and spiderwort. Also: heads-up on ticks. Yikes!

🌼 Hall Ranch (Lyons) – Flower power in full swing up here, according to the trail lovers. Worth the short drive for a bloom-splosion.

🌿 Heil Ranch – Between Lyons and Boulder, hikers are calling it “absolutely stunning” with peak color just ahead.

💐 Buttonrock Preserve – Another hidden gem for your floral fix. Bring your camera.

So, if you’re itching for a hike this week (and willing to dodge a few raindrops), grab those boots and take a lap on any of these prime spots. Bonus points for sharing your trail selfies with us — because let’s be real: we’re all here for the views. 🌸

Pro Tip: Don’t forget to stay on the trails and leave the flowers for the bees. Happy hiking! 🚶‍♂️🌼
