Eldora is Open! Your Guide to Ski Season in Boulder 🎿❄️

The moment we've all been waiting for is finally here—Eldora Mountain Resort is officially open for the season! Whether you’re a seasoned skier or just getting into the sport, we’ve put together everything you need to know for a smooth trip up the mountain.

How To Get to Eldora 🏂
Located just 21 miles west of downtown Boulder, Eldora is super accessible. Here’s how to get there:
🚗 Driving: Take Boulder Canyon up to Nederland. Be prepared for winter driving conditions.
🚌 Public Transportation: Hop on RTD’s NB Route bus from Downtown Boulder Station and get dropped off right at the Alpenglow chairlift. It's free for all youth (19 and under) this season!
🚙 Carpool & Save: Eldora now charges a $10 parking fee for single-occupancy vehicles on weekends, holidays, and snowy weekdays. Carpool with friends to save on fees and get access to premium HOV parking!

🚁 Are Drones Allowed?
Nope! Drones are not permitted at Eldora, so leave them at home and focus on the slopes.

Eldora’s Top Tips for a Fun Day on the Slopes 🏔️
Layer Up: Weather in the mountains can change quickly, so dress in layers and bring waterproof gear.
Pack Snacks: Food options at the resort can be pricey. Bring your own snacks and water to stay fueled.
Stay Safe: Follow the “Your Responsibility Code” and keep an eye out for Eldora’s Safe–T–Rex and Safety Penguin mascots for reminders on staying safe on the slopes.
