CU Boulder Surplus Store: Big Savings, Bigger Impact ♻️
CU Boulder is making strides in sustainability with the grand opening of its Surplus Store! Located at 3300 Walnut Ave., Unit A, this new storefront is the ultimate destination for budget-friendly shopping with a purpose. Here’s why you’ll want to check it out:
What’s available? Furniture, electronics, books, office supplies, sporting equipment, and unique finds like cameras and costumes. The coolest item so far? A gigantic inflatable buffalo! Why shop here? The store promotes resourcefulness by keeping perfectly good items out of the landfill. Proceeds support both campus departments and the costs of running Property Services. Who can shop? Starting Jan. 27, the store will be open to the general public. Buff OneCard holders can shop early during the soft opening, happening now! When’s it open? Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–3:00 PM. |
Property Services Program Manager Denise Worthington is confident shoppers will love the deals: “People will be surprised at how great the prices are!”
By visiting the Surplus Store, you’re not just saving money—you’re helping CU Boulder uphold its sustainability values. Stop by and discover something new while making an eco-friendly impact! 🌍
Got items to donate? Repurposed materials are accepted by appointment only.
